Linked Notes is now free!!! Well at least the Basic Edition is free. The Pro Edition is a paid upgrade for those who need the encryption feature. We will be adding additional features to both the Basic and the Pro Editions of the product.
Release 1.1 is available now on our download page. This is the second release of our popular note taking software since the beta testing period. Here are the highlights of this release.
- Update website URL and copyright notice
- Default the “Minimize to tray” setting to false
- Check for program already running, and restore original form.
- Allow anonymous access except to encrypted pages and program settings
- License information is now accessable from the main menu
- Free Basic Edition – no expiration or limitations in functionality
- Pro Edition includes encrypted pages support
- Created a PortableApps.com installation package
